Brendan Calling from the Underground

I hear the voices, and I read the front page, and I know the speculation. But I'm the decider, and I decide what is best. Blogger.com can suck me.

probably one of the dumbest articles I have EVER read at The New Republic.

Siegel's thesis, that "the marriage of comedy and politics is even more unhealthy than the marriage of church and state," is not only false, it is demonstrably false and has been demonstrably false since the plays of the ancient Greeks.

Anyone who takes this article seriously is nothing more than a stupid idiot. It is that simple.
