It seems to me that if Newsweek was wrong about the "flushing the Koran down the toilet" story, and they got the information for a "senior government official" who burned them, then Newsweek is under NO obligation to protect that source's anonymity.
Spill it Newsweek... was it Cheney or Rove?

I don't do too much political blogging these days, but this story simply needs to get around.
Dr. David Hager, a right-wing Christian who Mr. Bush recess appointed to the FDA advisory board, has been accused in the pages of The Nation by his ex-wife as a rapist.

His ex claims Dr. Hager, who wrote "it wasn't until I began to see how Jesus treated women that I understood how I, as a doctor, should treat them," repeatedly sodomized her against her will, particularly when she was unconscious.
Go read it. And then send it to your friends.

My brother has a new blog: phillybits. I'm not doing politics so much these days, but he is.

Not that my little blog reaches too many people, but if you vote in Philadelphia, pull the lever for SETH WILLIAMS FOR DA.

Seth, unlike Lynne Abraham, came out to Drinking Liberally a couple of weeks ago and laid out his ideas for us, taking questions from ordinary people.

And that's all I have for now.
